MERIT BASED COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS

Application Instructions

Applicants are encouraged to request their references and submit their applications well before the deadline in case of any last-minute technical challenges.

All applications must be completed online at feea.org/scholarships. One BIG-FEEA scholarship will be awarded in each BIG region to eligible children/step-children or grandchildren of financial BIG members.  FEEA has produced a video you can watch that has tips for completing your application, including pitfalls to avoid:  https://feea.org/our-programs/scholarships/scholarship-webinar-video/

BIG Eligibility

Children, grandchildren, or legal dependents under the age of 25 of full, part-time permanent, or retired federal, state, local government civilian, or retired members.

BIG member sponsors MUST have been a member in good standing for at least two (2) consecutive years.

Applicants must have a 3.0 or higher cumulative, unweighted grade point average.

The deadline to submit a complete application is March 25, 2021, at 3:00 pm EDT.  Applications will not be accepted beyond the deadline.
